Covid 19 has caused havoc in all our lives. Millions of businesses on the hold, jobs lost and already 1.2 million new Universal Credit applications submitted.

Since the Pandemic erupted we have been inundated with an unprecedented amount of calls, emails and referrals (by health workers, social workers, Religious leaders etc.) We are now distributing hundreds of food boxes every week to families affected by food-poverty, directly relating to – or worsened by the COVID-19, including Self-employed individuals, families who are quarantined, elderly people. and families who have lost the breadwinner to the virus and are in bereavement.
At this time, when we need to distance ourselves physically, it is crucial that we support each other emotionally and practically so we can weather this crisis together in good health.
